Description:
Have you ever wanted to race a jet ski across a professional course to impress a set of judges? Well now you can, with iJetSki by PDL Productions. In this iPhone/iPod Touch game, you can race across several different tracks on the jet ski of your choice to impress a set of judges. To make things a little more interesting , you must dodge several objects in the water (logs, rocks, etc.) while trying to drive through several sets of buoys.
iJetSki comes with 3 different tracks you can compete on. You can choose to race on the Morning Track, the Afternoon Track, or the Evening Track. To make the game more challenging, you can also change the difficulty of the game by choosing a Skill Level. If you are a beginner, you can choose "Easy Mode". However, if your are an average competitor, you can try "Medium Mode". Finally, if you are a professional, you can select "Hard Mode". The Skill Level you choose determines how many objects you have to dodge in the water, the number of buoy sets you must drive through, and how challenging the game is overall.
After you choose a track and a skill level, the competition begins. Shortly after entering the track, you will start to pass by various objects in the water. To dodge these objects, turn your jet ski left or right by tilting your device in the direction you want your jet ski to go. For example, if you want to turn your jet ski to the left, simply turn your device to the left. Likewise, if you wish to turn your jet ski to the right, turn your device to the right as well. For every object in the water you hit, the judges will take points off of your score. Your score will also decrease if you fail to drive through a set of buoys. However, the judges will add points to your score for every buoy set you are able to pass through.
After you have completed a track and the contest is over, you will get your score from the judges. The judges will give you between 1 and 5 stars. 1 star meaning horrible and 5 stars meaning terrific. The number of stars you receive from the judges depends on what your score was in the game. If your score is less than 199, you will get 1 star. If your score is between 200 and 299, you will receive 2 stars. If your score is between 300 and 399, you will get 3 stars. If your score is between 400 and 499, you will receive 4 stars. Finally, if your score is greater than 500, the judges will award you 5 stars. Race through each track to see how well you can do, and to get the highest rating possible from the judges!
