Description:

Strategically pilot one of 13 available submarines through mine-laden waters in this challenging endless side scrolling game.  The more games you play, the more creative your submarine choices become. Play in the Easy mode and unlock faster speeds when you feel you’re ready for additional challenges of maneuvering through the enemy waters. Move your submarine two ways: tapping your finger or with the built-in accelerometer. Either way, your submarine will have 3 chances to earn you as many points as possible. For those who can successfully avoid the mines, various power-up icons will help by protecting your submarine, shrinking or even power boosting you through the water. Finally, use your torpedo to explode the mines before they destroy you. Submit your score to the Game Center Leaderboards to see who the best pilot is!

What's New In Version 2.0:

Based on the feedback we've received from our users, we have made some big changes to iSubmarine!  Here's what you can expect to see in version 2.0.

Improvements/Enhancements:

• You now have 3 'lives' to gain as many points as you can before the third fatal hit.
• You can now fire a torpedo at oncoming mines.
• Along with the 3 subs you are given at the beginning, you can also unlock an additional 10 more creative subs, including a shark, 'hippie' and space shuttle sub.
• There are now 3 speed levels, two of which you must unlock.
• We have improved the graphics to tie everything together in a fresh and creative way.
• You now have the option to choose how you would like to control the sub - via touch or accelerometer controls.
• Improvements were also made to the submarine to make it behave more realistically.

Bug Fixes:

• The power-up icons no longer 'freeze' during the game.
• We have decreased the initial speed of the sub, and added in different speed options as mentioned above.
• Several bug fixes were made on the submarine to increase performance and reliability.
• The mines were fixed so they now work as intended.
• Bugs fixed in the Reset buttons.
• Several other minor bug fixes were made to increase the overall performance and efficiency of the game.
